For electrical contractors & project teams

Your electrical project.
Our fire alarm expertise.

WARD Fire Safety welcomes subcontracting opportunities with electrical contractors across the Greater Toronto Area, Waterloo Region and other Ontario service locations. Bring us into the conversation for fire alarm testing, troubleshooting, verification support, technical coordination and project estimating.

Fire alarm subcontracting support for electrical companies

Fire alarm work can involve specialized equipment, coordinated testing and detailed documentation. If your electrical company needs additional technical support for a project or service call, WARD can discuss a defined subcontracting scope that fits your team’s responsibilities and the installed system.

We welcome enquiries from electrical contractors managing renovations, equipment replacements, system alterations and corrective work. Our role, deliverables, site access, testing responsibilities and schedule are agreed before work begins.

How we can support your team

Troubleshooting & fault investigation ↗

Discuss investigation of panel troubles, circuit faults, device issues and intermittent conditions. Share the exact symptoms and equipment information so the scope can be defined.

Inspection & testing ↗

Arrange testing of existing fire alarm systems and documentation of findings. Existing inspection records help identify outstanding deficiencies and proposed corrective work.

Verification support ↗

Discuss functional testing and documentation for applicable new, extended or modified system work. Confirm project requirements, responsibilities and deliverables before scheduling.

Estimating & project planning ↗

Provide drawings, equipment details and proposed changes for a discussion of site review, device quantities, technical coordination and defined pricing assumptions.

Clear coordination from scope to handover

  1. Review the project. Send the location, available drawings, panel and device information, proposed work and target dates.
  2. Define responsibilities. Agree on WARD’s role, your team’s work, access arrangements, testing coordination and required documentation.
  3. Coordinate the site work. Identify the project contact, other trades and the sequence of work. Confirm readiness and availability before booking.
  4. Document the outcome. Record the agreed testing or investigation, outstanding issues and next steps for the project team.
